Punto y Seguido: a podcast for the journey back to ourselves
Sometimes we need fewer opinions and a more honest conversation. Punto y Seguido begins with that need.
Some days we know exactly what everyone around us needs. We remember an appointment, a call and the message someone is waiting for. Yet when asked what we need, the answer takes longer. Sometimes we have simply gone a long time without asking ourselves.
Punto y Seguido makes room for that question. An intimate podcast with Virginia León, it welcomes women and men who have outgrown the noise and begun the journey back to themselves. A place to talk about what changes, what weighs on us and what we are still trying to understand.
What does outgrowing the noise mean?
Noise can come from screens, family expectations or a list of achievements that keeps growing as we approach it. It can also speak from within: by now you should have, this is not the time, other people manage more. After hearing these lines often enough, we may mistake them for our own voice.
Moving beyond that noise does not mean disappearing from daily life. We have work, commitments and people we want to care for. We can begin by noticing what deserves our attention and what we continue doing out of habit. The distinction takes shape through a particular decision, relationship or afternoon.
The questions we will explore
Our first six conversations start with familiar experiences: finding it hard to pause, wanting someone to truly listen, living in a changing body, saying yes too quickly, comparing real life with the life we imagined and feeling uncertain about starting something new.
These experiences overlap. Being constantly available can make our tiredness difficult to hear. If our identity depends on solving everything, a boundary can feel threatening. Measuring ourselves against an old expectation may hide something valuable that is happening now.
A conversation without a rushed conclusion
There is room here for incomplete answers and experiences we cannot yet explain. Questions can accompany us into daily life without turning each reflection into another assignment. We can hear a sentence, let it rest and return to it another day with a different understanding.
The podcast name holds that possibility: something has been said, and there is still room to continue. Our story does not have to be resolved before it deserves a conversation.
We are preparing the first episodes. While they take shape, consider this: which part of your life would you like to listen to more closely? That may be a good place for us to meet.
